Is this an ancient mariner shaking his fist at the elements for tricking him with a flat calm day?

Moved Sundibanks flock back out onto heather and steep slopes before a very wet thaw was due. Difficult getting them to go through the gate as it's a sheet of ice. Once they were through all had their heads down grazing on the heather not covered by snow.

Am certain the days are getting a little longer.
